President

Robert L. Cucin, M.D., J.D., F.A.C.S

    Dr. Cucin is a practicing plastic surgeon in Manhattan affiliated with The Presbyterian - New York, Beth Israel North and New York University Downtown Hospitals.  He received his undergraduate training from Cornell University where he received his B.A. and graduated magna cum laude in chemistry and with distinction in all subjects.  He was granted his M.D. from Cornell Medical College and did both his General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residences at The New York Hospital - Cornell University Medical Center.    He is board-certified in plastic surgery and legal medicine and has a teaching appointment at Cornell Medical College

     Having widespread interests, he also received a Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School and is duly admitted to the New York, New Jersey and D.C. Bars and the American Trial Lawyers Association. His original research has been the subject of numerous contributions to the medical literature and he has published books in the fields of both medicine and law. Dr. Cucin funded the Rocin Foundation for Plastic Surgical Research to support his academic research and employs his combined degrees and experience in heading a Biotechnology Analysis and Advisory Service to assist new and established companies in developing and either manufacturing or licensing their biomedical intellectual property and to perform due diligence for investors interested in providing the start-up funds for ventures based upon new technology.

    Twenty years ago Dr. Cucin set up Rocin Laboratories, Inc. as a Research and Development company to perfect biomedical dermatologicals and devices. That company now has an extensive international patent portfolio and it is from that portfolio that first Lipotome Sales, then the Surgeons Tools Division, and now the separate company BioSculpture Technology, Inc. was funded to concentrate on the further refinement, manufacture and worldwide distribution of the most advanced body contouring and tissue sculpting art of that portfolio.

Dr. Cucin received his  M.B.A. at Columbia Business School, concentrating in finance, and BioScuplture Technology, Inc. was sponsored by Columbia in it's Greenhouse for Promising New Ventures.

 

Sales and Marketing Consultant

Ralph Prosceno

    Mr. Prosceno has been in the health care and medical device field for more than 35 years. As Group Vice President for the Squibb Corporation, he was responsible for the sales and marketing of ophthalmic and plastic surgery products. He introduced medical imaging devices as regional representative for InstruMed. Mr. Prosceno was also regional manager and sales representative for the McGhan Medical Corporation, a plastic surgery and medical device company. He hits the ground running in the power liposuction market by having assisted Numed in the North East as regional representative during the launch of the Power Cannula.

     Well-respected not only by his peers but also by many plastic surgeons around the United States, whom he has met through close contact at shows and office visits, Mr. Prosceno has served as marketing consultant to the medical community in the areas of dentistry, ophthalmology and plastic surgery. SurgiCare and his other personally owned companies have manufactured new products for sale to doctors and hospitals and developed nationwide markets for them.

     With his knowledge and experience, he is uniquely qualified to set up a distribution and sales organization that will shape the successful future of this Company's revolutionary technology.

 

Consultant Engineer

Peter Ciriscioli, Ph.D.

    Dr. Ciriscioli is Program Manager of the Engineering Mechanics Laboratory at General Electric Corporate Research where he leads new technology development and implementation throughout GE. Prior to that he worked as a consultant in technology strategy, technology transfer process, and product analysis for HEXCEL, a $1.5 Billion aerospace materials manufacturer.

    Prior experience includes that as Director of Research for the Fiberite Corporation where he led 30 engineers and scientists in U.S., U.K. and Europe and was responsible for the strategy and implementation of new technologies and products throughout the enterprise.

    Dr. Ciriscioli received his B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California and a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He has four patents, two books, and more than 20 published journal articles to his credit.

 

Directors

James W. Smith, M.D.

   Dr. Smith has maintained a long-standing, large practice as a plastic and reconstructive and hand surgeon in Manhattan and is Medical Director of the Manhattan Center for Specialty Care, Inc. which he established in 1987 as a New York State licensed, free-standing ambulatory surgery center. He received his B.S. from Case Western Reserve University and his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Cornell University Medical College and maintains admitting privileges at the New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center, Beth Israel North Medical Center of New York City, and the Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut.

   Dr. Smith is a member of every prestigious professional association in Plastic Surgery and has held numerous offices in many of them over the past 30 years. He has authored 71 contributions to the medical literature, four books, and four instructional films in plastic surgery over his long and illustrious career as one the leading American Plastic Surgeons.

 

Donald B. Relkin, Esq.

   Mr. Relkin is an attorney specializing in Secured Lending, Bankruptcy Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, and Banking. He received his B.A. from Queens College of the City University of New York, and his J.D. from New York University Law School. He is admitted to the New York Bar, and a members of the Sections on Corporation, Bank and Business Law of the New York State and American Bar Associations and the Subcommittee on Inventory and Receivable Financing.

   A member of the Commercial Finance Attorneys Association, Mr. Relkin is the author of numerous law review and law journal articles and a recipient of the prestigious B'nai B'rith Banking and Finance and the New York Institute of Credit Education Awards.  

 

Andrew L. Oltmanns, Sr.

   Mr. Oltmanns received his B.A. from Seton Hall University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University Business School. He retired as Vice President of Citibank, N.A. in 1993 after having managed Business Banking Centers as a member of the Community Business Team and having been Officer-in-Charge of several Manhattan based branches in the Metropolitan Division. He received awards from the First National City Bank of New York National City Foundation to attend the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and the First National City Bank International Travel Foundation to observe South American operations.

   His distinguished career in the banking industry makes Mr. Otmanns a valuable link to the financial world and guidance in maintaining proper asset/liability balances, negotiating loans and credit instruments, and budgeting projects.

 

Arthur Schill

   Mr. Schill is a Senior Partner of the Merill Adams Employment Agency and has been an executive head hunter for the past decade offering his assistance to many firms and individuals in start-up and transitional phases.
